Supporting Our Community Organizations
In 1986, Connecticut had its first Torch Run with a few legs converging onto the campus of the University of Connecticut at Storrs. The run then became a statewide event involving several more cities and towns. Since its inception, the Connecticut Law Enforcement Torch Run has grown into the largest grassroots fund-raising event for Special Olympics Connecticut.

The Farmington Youth Baseball League's philosophy and guidelines for all teams and programs is to help players to become self-confident, team-oriented people using baseball as a means to support individual character development. The goal of FYBL is to enable all players to develop as people through participation in baseball. With a foundation of self-confidence built on the field, the players will gain a true love for the sport. This love will allow participation in baseball for many years to come, as players, administrators, umpires and coaches.

The Kevin Adorno Memorial Fund, Inc. (“KAMF”) was formed to honor the life and legacy of Kevin Adorno - an adventurous, artistic, giving, athletic, fun loving person. Kevin was born and raised in Farmington, where he enjoyed all of the wonderful things Farmington had to offer - soccer leagues, tubing on the Farmington River, and spending his summers as a kid at Winding Trails, to name a few. Kevin always had a sense of adventure and a particular gift for meeting people and finding out what made them unique. He loved to try new things, travel and see new places. By age 28, Kevin had backpacked Europe, toured the country by car, had made everlasting friendships with people all over the world and bicycled nearly the entire east coast.
